Chris Grover

I'm a third generation Las Vegas resident.  Thirty years ago when I was a kid I stood in a desert lot across the street from the Hacienda and watched them demolish it to build Mandalay Bay. It was the end of one era and the start of another — old Vegas giving way to the mega-resort. Six years ago that same desert lot became Allegiant Stadium. I’ve watched this city reinvent itself my whole life — tearing down what came before and building the next era on the same ground, without losing itself in the process.
